Hands down the absolute best (by far) Thai food we've ever had. All four dishes of our order tasted like heaven. We can't even choose our favorite. This place is a gem! The presentation was 10/10. Staff were super friendly and attentive and ensured we had a great time and never had to raise a hand for anything. We 1000% recommend Up Thai restaurant!

A hidden gem of a restaurant, truly. The food, gorgeous ambience, and service exceeded my expectations. My friend and I were amazed at how quickly they served us our drinks and food. I also loved how clean and cozy it appeared. The cocktails are 10/10! I will definitely be a returning customer. Keep up the excellent work guys!

Had an amazing experience at Up Thai! The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Our server was incredibly helpful and made great recommendations throughout the meal. We especially loved the Crispy Spring Rolls, Thai Iced Coffee, Basil Fried Rice, Kee Mao, Khao Soi, Salad Rolls, and Mango Mousse Cake. The Mango Avocado Salad and Curry Puff were decent but didn't stand out as much as the other dishes. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great food and outstanding hospitality. Looking forward to coming back!

I strongly reccommend this place. I would say though that your experience might vary depending on your personal taste. I would give this place five stars, while my girlfriend would give four. We both liked the service, which is nice and fast, and the ambience, truly authentic. What is a mix is the food: in my opinion the fried rice, the spring rolls, and the mango dessert were amazing. My girlfriend (who has celiac, and they were able to accomodate her, so bonus points for this!) didn't really like the pad thai but liked the wings. She recognized the quality, but personally didn't love it. Overall, I would say this place deserves a visit and I would personally come back.

I had an amazing experience at Up Thai and it easily stands out as one of my favorite Thai spots in Manhattan. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone; warm, vibrant, and beautifully designed with hanging lanterns and greenery that make the space feel both cozy and elevated. It’s the kind of place that feels perfect for a date night, but still relaxed enough for a casual dinner. The food was outstanding. The Pad Thai was flavorful and well-balanced, with fresh ingredients and the perfect texture. You can tell everything is made with care. The dessert, sticky banana rice with coconut ice cream, was the perfect finish: rich, creamy, and not overly sweet. I also loved the attention to detail with the drinks and presentation. Even something as simple as an espresso martini felt intentional and well-crafted, and the little touches (like the snack pairing) made the experience feel thoughtful. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient without being intrusive. Overall, Up Thai delivers on all fronts, atmosphere, food, and service. I’ll absolutely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for elevated Thai cuisine in NYC.
